Arena Green Power has announced a €450 million investment in renewable energy projects across Navarra, set to roll out between 2025 and 2026. The Seville-based company plans to develop 18 clusters of wind and solar farms, each with an average capacity of 30 MW. The combined output will total 475 MW—split almost evenly between solar (242 MW) and wind (233 MW). With connection points already secured across nine substations, construction is expected to begin in 2025.
This large-scale initiative aligns with Navarra’s energy transition strategy, which aims for 100% renewable electricity by 2030. Arena’s focus on mid-sized, locally integrated projects is designed to reduce environmental impact and improve community acceptance. All developments remain under 50 MW, allowing for direct regional management and streamlined permitting.
The company also has long-term plans to integrate battery storage and green hydrogen production. One of the key locations for hydrogen infrastructure could be Orkoien, close to major industrial zones. Arena has already joined the Navarra Hydrogen Table to support this line of innovation.
With 2,557 MW currently under management across the Iberian Peninsula, Arena Green Power has evolved from a project developer to a full independent power producer (IPP). This expansion into Navarra further solidifies its role as a major player in Spain’s clean energy transformation.
